After implementing an overdrive preamp in our Kilobyte Lo-Fi delay, we decided to finally make our ultimate overdrive engine, the Haymaker. Easily capable of going from open, glassy flavors of boost to classic crunch sounds that sound like an extension of your amplifier's character, Haymaker can go even further into high gain territory. A three-way mode switch lets you choose soft-clipped overdrive, open uncompressed drive, or harder clipped distortion textures, allowing you to decide how the pedal will respond to the wide range of control settings and changes with your pick attack and volume control. These responsive changes in dynamic range are why we call this a "dynamic drive".
Controls: Volume, punch, highs, shape, switch mode (a/b/c).

Lo-Fi digital delay pedal which keeps the original signal path analog and pure, then gives you a +21db boost/overdrive preamp to smash a low fidelity digital delay chip designed for karaoke machines and kids' toys into smeared, repeated glory. This pedal is VERY capable of fun runaway oscillations, both by turning up the summation knob, or a controlled, high-pass filtered oscillation from the Havoc momentary foot switch. If you've ever struggled to make your delays come through prominently in the mix, or lost definition from your original signal, the Attack and Level controls can allow you to dial up everything from crisp, clean slapbacks to dirty, muted echoes and loud, powerful repeats. A beautiful, subtle modulation circuit courtesy of our friend Jack DeVille also sweetens the repeats with just the right amount of movement.
Controls: Level, attack, sum, clock, switch modulation.

Reverb pedal which keeps the original signal path analog and pure, while giving you overdrive and regeneration controls to take you from spring reverb sounds to something much bigger. The controls are very interactive with each other, and as per Caroline tradition, this pedal can get VERY loud. Attack sets the amount of gain in the preamp, allowing you to boost or overdrive the reverb. Size establishes the initial reverberation. Regeneration extends the decay and adds overtones, set both this and Size high and the pedal can run away and self oscillate. Level is the overall volume of the effect relative to your original signal. The Dark/Bright toggle sets the overall voice. Holding down the Havoc temporary footswitch can create extended, seemingly infinite holds, gradual runaways or instant collapse, depending on the Size setting. Releasing it will return the effect to the level of the Regeneration control.
Controls: Level, attack, regen, size, switch dark/bright.

Think of the Parabola as your rig's new "tremolo channel". We've adapted the deliciously sloshy, transistor-based LFO and distinctive waveform from our favorite "West German" device, modified its speed and depth ranges to match and go beyond those of your favorite classic amps, and then added pre and post effect gain stages for both overdrive and volume boost. Then we offer the classic, dramatic amplitude modulation (AM) you might expect, or a filtered frequency-based modulation (FM) that is subtle, beautiful, and less invasive on your playing.

In this pedal, Havoc increases the speed and depth of the effect. To give your effect a little juice, hit it and hold it down, then release to come back to your settings. Or, leave the depth all the way off, and hit Havoc for momentary bursts of tremolo.

Designer's note: "One of the things that I'm most excited about with Parabola is the sound quality. I loved how the old Schaller TR-68's transistor based oscillator and feel had a wonderful, very "Wim Wenders/Hal Hartley early days of indie film soundtracks" vibe. But the originals had some issues. The input would get loaded down a lot, and there was a definite volume drop when you'd use the effect. As a result, they were great to record with – you'd adjust your EQ to work with the constraints – but live use could be tough, and that's before we even get to the very bunched up potentiometer tapers or limited speed ranges.

So with improved input impedance and gain staging, we've been able to recapture the lush sound that I loved about the originals, but give you plenty of first stage gain AND a second stage volume boost, keep it entirely analog and transistor based, and maintain that sound and vibe that may not be for everyone, but is something I find specific and beautiful. The speed ranges have been improved to go from AC-30 style slow speeds to faster than Fender® "Silverface" levels of fast, the depth control actually does cool things before 3:00, and the AM/FM modes have to be heard to be believed."
Controls: Output, preamp, depth, speed, switch fm / am, switch fst / slo.

Wave Cannon mkII

263 € SRP incl. VAT

While it can do some extremely cool mild-to-medium crunch tones, Wave Cannon II is really capable of overwhelming your amp and it has a LOT of gain and volume on tap, as we'd been infuriated in the past by great sounding classic distortion pedals we've owned that didn't go far enough with clean amps, or were quieter than unity gain or the bypass signal. The Focus setting scoops, flattens, or boosts the midrange frequencies. Rumble increases the amount of bass available in the circuit, and is especially useful at lower gain settings. Flipping this switch may cut your signal momentarily, this is perfectly normal. Hold down the Havoc switch for feedback and unpredictable noises! For Havoc to work, the Wave Cannon has to see" the guitar as either the very first pedal in your chain, or prefaced by true-bypass, non-buffered effect pedals that are turned off. Results may vary."
Controls: Volume, gain, focus, tone, switch rumble.
